I was looking through some drawings that I did over the last summer, and thought I should give this one a better scan/touch up for the original illustration. Sorry for the recent trend of just doing some colorings of lineart/retouches of old drawings but I haven’t had much time for anything else… been writing a little story for the first Öortz comic, though! Thinking about putting the comic out (for now) on a separate tumblr.

Oh, and of course, this was the original drawing for the cover of my last By Any Means Necessary release/split with Kangarot in September 2012

Well, I did some looking around and decided to make a society6 page to maybe sell some prints/upcoming art on… so far I’ve put Ürṩr-Tëhtt III on there as a print in 3 sizes! What kind of things would you all want prints of? Any art that I’ve posted here that you’d be interested in putting on a wall, or something? Have some crazy ideas for t-shirt designs, too. Öortz bust, inspired by/a sort of tribute to the Philippe Druillet aesthetic style… drew this originally on some sketchbook paper so I had to resort to some basic coloring/etc digitally

edit: also included an alternate one without color separation and with a sort of background

so I think I want to go ahead and actually start making comics out of these ideas I’ve had.. basically it’d be short stories focusing around the character/worlds I’ve created for Öortz. Only thing is, since I don’t really have long narrative or story planned out in my mind, I will probably just do these in shorts.

Does anybody out there on tumblr know of any collaborative zines or things like that which I could probably try submitting some stuff to? I really don’t know how to go about this, if I was confident enough to make something longer/something that could definitely stand on its own, I’d go ahead with figuring out how to make non expensive ziney kind of print comics that I’d like to set up an online store for.. This is just me putting my feelers out for now and seeing if anyone has suggestions/knows of ways to go about this?
