I am remembering how to paint, and I want to make your prog/heavy metal/synth wizard album cover and/or poster. If you are in a band or know cool bands that want record designs/pictures/something I would totally be into going into that realm. I’ve got 3 projects right now that I’m working on in that sort of area and it’s very fun/building my confidence, and I’d like to do more stuff for bands in the future.

hey everyone watch me learn to paint, I really don’t know what the fuck I’m doing here. I tried doing some abstract background and picking forms, gouache is weird and not like watercolor and in the end it’s much too pink and whatever i’ll keep doing this until i’m good.
ship/landscape sketch. grey markers, brush pen, ink pen, whiteout.
Kind of like the idea compositionally, might use the idea for one of my first painting tests!
I’m thinking I’m going to bust out the watercolors and maybe try doing some mixed media work… I feel like that’s where I’ve been headed, but it’s just taken me a while to build up confidence. So, in the near future, expect some exploration using pen/watercolor/gouache?
